FIRST IMPRESSIONS: L'Oréal Infallible 24H Foundation

Boots were having an offer on certain L'Oréal products - 2 for £12 so I thought I would get two foundations and test them out.

My skin is dry and very red.
It definitely gives a matte finish to the skin and is build-able.
I didn't use a concealer so all I did was blend some more foundation into those troubled areas like where there was a few spots, it didn't cover everything but most of them.
The foundation didn't leave my skin looking dry which normally matte foundations do.
After a while my skin started looking dry near my nose which is where I suffer from the most dryness.
My whole skin looked so matte and not so nice, I prefer a dewy look.
The foundation claims:
  • No transfer - TRUE
  • No visible imperfections - NOT SO TRUE: my spots are visible
  • No visible shine - MOST DEFINITELY TRUE
  • No dry-out - FALSE: it dried my skin around my nose and between my eyebrows
  • No mask-effect - TRUE
It worn down quite evenly, if I had oily skin or liked the matte look then I feel like I would love it but I don't and I wish they would come out with a dewy version of this. It is the perfect shade for me so I now know my shade in L'Oréal foundations.
I will probably wear this more in the Summer when my skin is not as dry and I will naturally produce more facial sweat that will make it look less matte and I could wear it with a dewy face spray.

Purchased: Boots
Shade: 015 Porcelain
Price: £9.99
Overall Rating: 4/5
